Wine Review: Query 2007 Monterrey Coast Pinot Noir

This beautiful deep red wine starts off with berries that smack the lips with lusch juiciness. Tart cherry and oak flavors feature prominently on the palate though the terroir of the land, (loam/sand) is prevalent too.

This wine IS an expression of the Monterrey Region. Paired with Chicken Mushroom marsala. Interesting note: Drinking from the glass vs drinking straight out the bottle, out of the bottle I picked up heavier spice, cinnamon perhaps.

Paid $12 at BevMo. Yeah I don’t wanna hear it about qualifyiing for the blog :p
